Between the visit of the President of the Brittany Region, Loïg Chesnais-Girard, and the pre-school session for its first 25 teachers, the public establishment designed by AIA Life Designers came to life following an approach guided by the integration of new uses and a strong environmental ambition. Whether working alone or collaboratively, exchanging ideas, seeking solitude, or gathering together—everything is possible in this next-generation high school.
The project addresses sustainable development challenges set by the Brittany Region within the framework of its real estate master plan, emphasizing user health (preservation of air and water quality, quality materials, level 2 of the biosourced label); energy efficiency (Performance level “Energy 3 Carbon 1,” RT2020 energy approach); effective management of water, waste, and green spaces; and an eco-management approach with optimization of building operation and maintenance.
