PARTNERSHIP] Our Paris-based architecture agency, AIA Life Designers, was delighted to welcome a group from the CAUE de Paris Children’s School of Architecture.

This immersive and hands-on experience provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to our various areas of expertise. Designed as a genuine discovery journey, it supported this initiative open to children aged 6 to 18, whose mission is to educate young people about cities and architecture while encouraging them to better understand and engage with the built environment that surrounds them every day.

Highlights from the evening’s immersive program :

🔹 Exploring our materials library alongside Meryl Zieba, Interior Architect, to understand the essential role materials play in the design process.

🔹 A deep dive into construction management, featuring discussions with Clotilde de Beaurepaire from AIA Management on site operations and the daily challenges faced by project teams.

🔹 An environmental focus led by Aurore Triadou, Biodiversity Lead at AIA Environnement, exploring biophilic design principles and the importance of biodiversity considerations in our projects.

🔹 A landscape perspective with Valérie Berger, Head of Landscape at AIA Territoires, discussing how projects are integrated into their surroundings and the importance of plant palettes in shaping sustainable environments.

🔹 To conclude, a presentation of one of our flagship projects of 2025: the renovation of the DRIEAT (Regional and Interdepartmental Directorate for Environment, Planning and Transport) headquarters on Rue Miollis in Paris’s 15th arrondissement. Presented by Frédéric Nantois, Partner Architect at AIA Paris, this project showcased the combined expertise of our architecture, engineering, and environmental teams in delivering a building designed with care for both its surroundings and its occupants.

It was an inspiring evening of exchange, driven by the students’ curiosity and enthusiasm, for which we are sincerely grateful. We would also like to thank Marilou Dif, Jean-Baptiste Vicquelin, Aglaé Thébaud and Solène Mourey for their trust and support.

We are proud to contribute to raising awareness among younger generations about the challenges of architecture, quality living environments, and health-promoting architecture and urban planning.
