A Multifunctional Building, Generously Open
Rising over 9 levels (4 levels dedicated to the Multimodal Hub and 5 office floors), the building is supported by a structure that offers a clear and simple solution to a complex programmatic challenge. User comfort, spatial clarity, ease of access, and strong environmental ambitions were the foundational principles of its design.
The vertical layout minimizes the building’s footprint, contributing to a more thoughtful urban development strategy.
The curves and large windows of the Multimodal Hub create a structure that is generously open to the public realm, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for users.
At ground level, the bus terminal is bright and open to the platforms, featuring a forecourt, lobby, and retail units. The monumental lobby space can serve as a setting for artistic events, enhancing the city’s cultural life. Dining areas further increase the appeal of the location. From the lobby, a mezzanine offers a view of what makes this Multimodal Transport Hub unique: a bike parking facility integrated with circulable spaces. Two additional levels house a rental car parking area.
Fully accessible and open on all sides, the building incorporates ramps, escalators, freight elevators, stairs, moving walkways, and stepped paths — forming an inclusive and intuitive circulation system within a space that is easy to navigate.
