[PROJECT] #Opening of the Centre Pompidou 2030 Project Hub: a meeting place to stay connected throughout the renovation period.

A space dedicated to understanding, sharing, and learning about this major transformation.

For our teams of architects and engineers, this opening marks an important milestone. It makes visible work that has been underway for several years: heritage assessments, master planning, technical studies, environmental simulations, coordination of expertise… A highly precise project aimed at giving a second life to the iconic building by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers—remaining true to its DNA while adapting to contemporary climate, technical, and cultural challenges.

Complete asbestos removal, façade redesign, modernization of systems, energy performance improvements, enhanced accessibility… the renovation brings together a wide ecosystem of expertise, including AIA Life Designers for the technical aspects, alongside Moreau Kusunoki and Frida Escobedo Studio for the cultural dimension, as well as AIA Ingénierie, AIA Environnement, and all project partners.

The project is now moving into the construction phase, while the cultural program is already expanding beyond the building’s walls. The Centre Pompidou remains active, vibrant, and in motion—true to the spirit of Beaubourg.

Rehabilitating without altering its essence, to prepare for the next 50 years.

Congratulations to all the project teams for their commitment to this ongoing collective adventure in architecture, engineering, and culture.
