[PROJECT] #Inauguration of the avionics hall and aviation training building at Pierre de Coubertin High School in Meaux.

On Friday, September 6 at 10:00 AM, the inauguration of the avionics hall and the aviation training building at Pierre de Coubertin High School in Meaux, designed by our architects from AIA Life Designers, took place. Adrien Paporello, Thomas Decousser, and Laurent Pierrat-Bonneval presented this building to the delegation of officials, highlighting its strong ambitions for the use of bio-based materials (wood sector) and reuse. The design challenges included showcasing, through architecture, the excellence of the aeronautics training program. This is the first building in a broader renovation and redevelopment project.

In attendance were:

  • Jean-François Copé, Mayor of Meaux and President of the Pays de Meaux Agglomeration Community,
  • Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Regional Council,
  • Marie-Hélène Despin-Hirlimann, Principal,
  • Valerie Debuchy, Academic Inspector and Director of Education Services for Seine-et-Marne.

This marks an important first step in this project combining renovation and new construction.

Best wishes for the new school year to all students and staff.
