An associate architect and now President of AIA Life Designers, Delphine Beji embodies a new generation of leaders for whom architectural quality and innovation mutually reinforce one another. She advocates a demanding yet open vision: to innovate is, above all, to cultivate curiosity, listening, and collective work.
“Being open to the world and always able to view uncertainty as a necessary condition for staying attentive is the best way to innovate.”
A committed and inspiring architect-president
A graduate of the Nantes School of Architecture (2004), Delphine Beji began her career in Shanghai before joining AIA Life Designers—first in Nantes, then in Lyon, where she became Agency Director. In May 2025, at the age of 45, she assumed the presidency of the group, which brings together more than 700 employees in France, China, and Morocco, within an independent company model owned by its associates and employees.
“I am president, but above all an architect,” she emphasizes. “My role is to embody the collective of associates, to ensure the architectural quality of our projects, and the human quality of our shared journey.”
