#MEETING Join us from October 7 to 9 at SIBCA – Low Carbon Real Estate Fair for a discussion on the challenges of tracking the carbon trajectory of buildings.
📅 💡 On October 7 from 10:00 to 10:30 in Delorme Room, Simon Davies, Director at AIA Environnement, and Maxime Havard, Low Carbon and LCA Lead at AIA Life Designers, will address “Carbon Payback Time” by sharing insights from three projects, three lessons learned, and three levers for successful low-carbon renovation. The carbon payback time is a #key_indicator that profoundly changes the methodology for approaching renovations.
“When it comes to renovation, the #real_question is no longer whether the project will be carbon-neutral, but how much #time it will take! Carbon payback time (CPT) is the key indicator: it measures the time needed for the #carbon savings generated by a renovation to offset the initial carbon investment.”
📐 Within our multidisciplinary agency, this indicator deeply alters project processes and the #methodology for tackling #renovation projects.
We have been experimenting with it for three years through a research program and with the help of a professional tool. From various programs like the renovation of the #Pompidou_Center, the headquarters of the #DRIEAT on Miollis Street, or the renovation of the George Vallerey swimming pool, what are the main takeaways? What concrete measures can reduce the carbon footprint while providing high architectural value?
Join us and come share at SIBCA – Low Carbon Real Estate Fair!
