The exhibition “How Are We? – Rhône-Alpes”, presented by the AIA Foundation at CAUE Rhône Métropole, will open on April 1, 2025, at 6 bis quai Saint-Vincent, 75001 Lyon.
Collective health in cities : A growing priority. In recent years, collective health in urban environments has become a key area of research. But what exactly do we mean by “collective health”? The underlying question might be: What situations have a positive or negative impact on residents’ health? A simple yet often complex question to answer!
To provide new perspectives on this complexity, the exhibition “How Are We?” was created. Originally showcased at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021, then in Grenoble in spring 2023, it now continues its journey through the Lyon metropolitan area in an expanded and fully contextualized version.
Exploring the connection between living environments and global health. Through a variety of multimedia formats, the exhibition invites you to explore the interdependencies between urban environments and overall health, including: Historical retrospectives, interviews with local figures involved in urban health, a methodological tool highlighting key and minor issues in studied neighborhoods, field investigations and sensitive diagnostics, inspiring projects shaping the future of urban well-being.
