In Angers, the ZAC du Cours Saint-Laud acts as a bridge between the residential city and the business district. This new urban hub is progressively shaping the future of city life, where workplace well-being, sustainability, and digital innovation are key guiding principles.
Designed by AIA Life Designers, La Station A embodies this new architectural dynamic, creating inspiring workspaces that foster synergy between businesses in a human-centered office environment.
The office spaces at La Station A offer a groundbreaking approach to how businesses “consume” their rental spaces. Companies in the building are considered co-tenants, sharing key amenities such as the lobby, work café, meeting rooms, garden, and server room.
Beyond the environmental benefits of optimizing space usage, this shared approach significantly enhances the quality and usability of these areas for all tenants, promoting well-being at work and encouraging collaboration.
Located on a corner plot near the Saint-Laud train station, the building connects the landscaped park to the city. At the heart of multiple mobility networks, La Station A is accessible by train, car, and pedestrian routes, with an underground parking garage and a dedicated bicycle storage area.
The architectural vision meets three major challenges : environmental commitment at the core of the project ; a balance between shared spaces for collaboration and areas for individual creativity ; seamless integration into its surroundings—standing out as a pioneering project without disrupting the existing urban landscape.
