[PROJECT]#Winner of the design project for the renovation, operation, and maintenance of the Waste Treatment and Recovery Center (CTVD) in Nantes.

We are delighted to announce that AIA Life Designers has been selected as the winner of the design project for the renovation, operation, and maintenance of the Waste Treatment and Recovery Center (CTVD) in Nantes. This exemplary project is located at the heart of the future Urban Ecology Hub in Prairie de Mauves.

Key Project Highlights:

– Processing Capacity: Up to 270,000 tons of waste per year, serving approximately 1.5 million residents.
– Energy Production:
– Electricity for over 25,000 households.
– More than 75% of the heating needs for the Centre Loire urban network, with a guaranteed power output of 48 MW.
– Cooling production in summer, with a guaranteed power output of 10 MW.
– Environmental Performance:
– Emission levels well below regulatory standards.
– Optimized stormwater management and a zero-discharge policy for wastewater treatment.
– Special attention to noise and odor impact, particularly during construction.
– Ambitious biodiversity preservation policy and strict adherence to the Sustainable Construction Charter of Nantes Métropole.
– Educational Dimension:
– The site will feature an immersive exhibition, allowing visitors to explore its operations and understand its essential role in waste treatment.
