Tuesday, October 14 marks a major milestone for the Ville-Évrard Public Mental Health Establishment (EPS) with two key developments:
- The inauguration of the new medico-technical building,
- The laying of the foundation stone for the future Health Hub on the historic Neuilly-sur-Marne site, an AIA Life Designers architecture project.
Supported by the Île-de-France Regional Health Agency (ARS) as part of the Ségur de la Santé plan, this large-scale modernization and renovation program (nearly €97 million in investments) reflects a renewed vision of public psychiatry—more open and more humane.
Located within a 60-hectare listed park, the Health Hub will ultimately include:
- 6 full-time adult inpatient units (UHTP),
- 1 inpatient unit for older adolescents and young adults (GAJA),
- 1 adult day hospital (HDJ),
- 1 part-time therapeutic reception center (CATTP),
- 1 sequential care group.
Each UHTP at the Ville-Évrard EPS benefits from welcoming outdoor spaces: a covered terrace and a large enclosed garden with a vegetable plot.
This project aims to improve reception and hospitalization conditions while incorporating a strong ecological and heritage dimension.
Thank you to all the stakeholders present on this occasion:
Cécilia Boisserie, Director of EPSVE,
Zartoshte Bakhtiari, Mayor of Neuilly-sur-Marne,
Thibaut Ernouf, Psychiatrist at EPSVE,
Denis Robin, Director General of ARS Île-de-France,
as well as all the professionals mobilized to make this project a reality in the service of mental health in Seine-Saint-Denis.
