On Friday, May 16, we had the pleasure of inaugurating, alongside Mayor Joël Le Besco, the official delegation, and our project owner, the extension of the Saint-Joseph Clinic in Combourg—an emblematic project designed by AIA Life Designers and delivered as a turnkey solution.
Located on the outskirts of the town, this 1,047 m² extension strengthens the local healthcare offering while providing a calming environment for both patients and caregivers. The facility includes :
A medical consultation department,
A day hospital for general medicine,
An unscheduled care unit (USCU),
A post-emergency care unit (PECU),
A central landscaped patio and an outdoor wellness path.
Designed to combine functional clarity, comfort for vulnerable patients, and architectural quality, the building integrates harmoniously into the local landscape. Its two-level structure, centered around natural light and views of the surroundings, places well-being at the heart of care.
This project represents a major milestone for our AIA Turnkey approach, bringing together architecture, engineering, project management, and construction execution under a single contractual design-build team. An efficient, responsible, and committed solution in the service of healthcare.
