Supporting our client’s ambitions from design through to delivery, after two years of construction work, represented a true alignment of values around environmental performance, quality of the working environment, and careful attention to meeting every technical challenge required to create an inspiring architectural landmark for the brand.
The combined expertise of our architects and AIA Ingénierie façade engineers in bio-based technologies and their applications, together with the rigorous execution carried out by the construction companies, made it possible to achieve remarkable results in terms of comfort, thermal performance, and energy savings, among other benefits.
The objective was ambitious, with a target value of < 0.80 m³/(h·m²). The test result was “excellent,” achieving a value of 0.32 m³/(h·m²).
The final airtightness test results for the complete building correspond to those of a passive building.
The building envelope, which mobilized local expertise, included:
– Bio-based timber-frame façades (FOB) manufactured and installed by Entreprise Bezacier
– Mineral render applied on render support over the timber-frame façade system, carried out by Aubonnet et Fils
– Low-carbon aluminum joinery and exterior architectural detailing manufactured and installed by Blanchet Groupe.
