June 18, 2025 marks a major milestone for State heritage and urban transformation: we unveiled the renovated headquarters of the DRIEAT (Regional and Interdepartmental Directorate for Environment, Planning and Transport), in the heart of Paris’s 15th arrondissement, during an official event that brought together all stakeholders.
Before :
An administrative complex from the 1970s—enclosed, energy-consuming, and unsuitable for new uses and environmental challenges.
After :
A redesigned, open, greened, high-performing building, exemplary in both environmental and social terms, welcoming over 1,000 staff members in a quality working environment, achieving a 60% reduction in overall energy consumption compared to 2010, and creating a true urban cooling island.
The visit of the building followed speeches delivered by: @Emmanuelle Gay, Director of DRIEAT, Philippe Goujon, Mayor of the 15th arrondissement of Paris, Marc Guillaume, Prefect of the Île-de-France Region, and the architects, Frédéric Nantois (AIA Life Designers) and Dominique Vitti (Atelier PHILÉAS).
A concrete demonstration of our collective ability to transform an obsolete office building into a site open to the city, serving both the ecological transition and quality of working life.
Key figures :
– Nearly 11,000 m² renovated and more than 5,000 m² of new space created
