[CONFERENCE] #May 26, 2025 – Presentation of the future Franceline Ribard Health Campus, at the heart of Île de Nantes.

AIA Life Designers, architects committed to care-centered architecture, and C.F. Møller Architects, a Danish leader in sustainable design, have joined forces for this exemplary project dedicated to the Loire region and the future of healthcare!

This major milestone marks the unveiling of a key 46,600 m² project for health education on both a national and European scale. Designed to accommodate nearly 6,900 students and 1,000 staff members, this innovative campus will bring together, by 2031, all medical, paramedical, and social training programs in one location, directly connected to the future university hospital (CHU).

A major investment of €274 million : – €116M from Nantes Métropole, – €72M from the French State, – €72M from the Pays de la Loire Region, – €8.5M from the European Union, – €3.2M from Nantes Université, – €1M from CHU de Nantes.

A flagship campus: inclusive, sustainable, and open to the city.

With bioclimatic architecture, responsible materials, soft mobility solutions, and extensive shared simulation spaces, the Franceline Ribard Health Campus embodies a bold and contemporary vision of healthcare education.
