On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the team behind the new terminal at Roland-Garros Airport in Réunion Island received the Innovation Award as part of the Resilient Buildings Trophies at the Batimat trade show.
The jury was enthusiastic and unanimous about the commitment made with this building to advance the topic of natural ventilation with a solution that is “smart, replicable, and fully in harmony with its environment.” as stated by Stéphanie Obadia, Director of Construction21. Pierre Reibel, William Leroux, and Bastien Begramian were present to receive the plaque, which honors a collective effort and the commitments of the project owner.
