The project is located north of Nantes, a stone’s throw away from the Chantrerie park and the banks of the river Erdre. This endeavour strives to bring together two branches of the IMA group: IMA Tech and IMA Protect. These two affiliates believe that their employees’ wellbeing should be at the heart of the managerial approach. Ambassadors (employees co-opted by colleagues) collected ideas and proposals in order to ensure their integration in the project. Modularity, conviviality, innovation and a sense of belonging are values the project aims to express and enliven. This ambition has led to the elaboration of a user-centric project. The heart of the project is composed of office spaces distributed on a square plan, that host more than thirty different positions. These spaces of circa 300m2 receive natural light and benefit from views on the surrounding landscape through three façades. These spaces are flexible in order to achieve maximum modularity. They are structured and served by a vertical interior street which is the project’s true rallying point. It is at the core of the gathering places, meeting rooms, break rooms, relaxation and training areas, all within a controlled climatic environment. Furthermore, the street is crisscrossed by passageways and staircases that foster encounters, exchanges and the organisation of events. It is a true mixed-used transition space.
